Festival of India - Sept 29 & 30, 2012 !!

The H2H team hosted a booth at Festival of India at Richmond Convention Center, Richmond VA on September 29th an 30th. The team's goal was to to raise money for Doctors Without Borders.  There were  more than 45 designs for cards.

We had a successful booth.. Over those two days, we raised as much funds as the 8 months before that!

Booth no. 50 in Festival of India 2012

We are participating in the Festival of India 2012. This will be our third consecutive year at the Festival of India. It is a fund raising event with all the proceeds being donated to Doctors Without Borders. Our booth no. is 50 and we will be there on 29th Saturday and 30th Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Display at Twin Hickory Library, Glen Allen, VA

We have our cards on display at the Twin Hickory Area Library in Glen Allen, Richmond.

We have introduced several new designs from the contemporary style. These are from new artists Bhagyashree Guhagarkar and Neelima Ganta.

There are four more designs on display by another very talented artist Varsha Dabholkar from Pune, India. Varsha has used the traditional Madhubani style on bold earthy colors. Here is a link about this style on wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madhubani_art

We are through with the Festival of India 2011

We are through with the Festival of India and looking forward to the coming New Year. We will be present for some of  the upcoming celebrations at the Hindu Center of Virginia on November 11th, 12th and 13th. We have some nice colorful cards added to our collection this year. We also have some designs printed on enlarged 5"x7" cards and they are perfect as Holiday greeting cards for friends and family alike.

This is also the time to place orders for the Christmas cards and/or New Year cards. We will also be happy to customize cards for you according to your choice. Send us an e-mail and we will get in touch with you.

All the proceeds from the card sales are being donated to Doctors Without Borders. We invite you to join us in the spirit of sharing during this Holiday season.

Festival of India - 2011

The Heart2Heart team hosted a booth at the 2011 Festival Of India at Richmond VA.  In this 2-day events, many people visited the Heart2Heart booth for buying cards, donating, volunteering and inquiries.

The team was happy to be able to fulfil their goal by helping two organizations... Raising money for Doctors Without Border - which is the team's important goal, and enabling Hindu Center of Virginia to participate in this domestic non-profit work which the FOI team can be proud of.
